Own New is dedicated to helping more people onto the property ladder through innovative partnerships with housebuilders and lenders. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to own a modern, energy-efficient new home.
Own New was founded in 2017 by Eliot Darcy as a joint venture with Capita PLC, with the aim of making home ownership more accessible. In 2023 Own New launched it's first all LTV product, Rate Reducer, in partnership with Lloyds Building Society and Virgin Money.

Eliot Darcy
CEO & Founder
Eliot trained and qualified with PwC as a Chartered Accountant. He worked as an Investment Director at two venture capital funds for 11 years, before he left his role to start Own New.
Brian O'Neill
Director, Finance & Operations
Brian is a Chartered Accountant, having worked at KPMG, FRP Advisory and Capita PLC. He joined the company in 2018 and is responsible for finance, operations and IT strategy. In 2024 he became a Director.
Sophie Millington
Head of Marketing
10 years of experience founding, scaling and selling her own startup. Now leading the marketing activities for Own New.
